My friend was working in HMV and a coworker said he saw them. Said he was talking to Battle and the like and got invited to an afterparty.

It wouldn't necessarily be advertised - maybe they wanted to test the general music crowd (not have the fans cheering them on).

Dunno. I reckon the first album was really a starter and it sounded too much lack a lacklustre attempt at some kind of metal. There are hints of their creativeness on it, but this is exactly the stuff that shone through on On The Turn. They really should have been more successful but I reckon it was...
