Note to Darragh - you want to play one extra date, Spikey Mark at the Portsmouth Wedgewood rooms would love to hear from you guys. Details for his FB are on the thread on Facebook.

Re: Three songs that reminded me of Kerbdog
Your issue with Sparta is that Jim writes songs that sound like At The Drive-In songs with Omar and Cedric yanked out. At the Drive-In probably rate as high as Kerbdog in my internal ranking system. Sparta I can listen to, but are not as good. One other observation - a lot of what makes Kerbdog song...

Re: Three songs that reminded me of Kerbdog
I've never found a band that fully does it for me. This is for a few reasons. Firstly, there's kind of two and a half versions of Kerbdog - the Self titled album (won't call it by the name above, as it was never called that on the official UK release) is very far removed from On The Turn. Sitting in...

Re: Kerbdog Gigography
Without having looked at the list yet (always a bad idea.. lol) they toured with Therapy? and that rapper than had a song that sampled Smells like Teen Spirit (don't care enough to find is name) circa March 1994. I saw them at the Portsmouth Pyramids, I think it was around the first week of the mont...

If ever I was going to be excited about a prospective band - this would be the one :-) I hear things that make me very, very happy today!

Re: Dry Riser vid
I think so. I have more stuff than I posted so far. Just no time to encode. I have some pretty old Dalton era Kerbdog stuff - including a bit where they are miming to stuff off the first album on No Disco or something like that.

Re: Your Kerbdog Collection
WOW! Did I actually remember that correctly? hah!
Edit: I notice that it doesn't mention this "title" that some have mentioned. That does look exactly like the version my mate had. He got it whilst working in Pennsylvania, so it was def the US release.

Re: Just found my old Wilt page!
This is all that is left of the first (yes, FIRST) Wilt page on the Net: http://www.memsom.mistral.co.uk/wilt.htm I started it the day I got back from Ireland after seeing the last Kerbdog show. The logo is scanned from the flyer they gave out for the Funnel gig, which happened a few weeks after the...

Re: Your Kerbdog Collection
Quick Question for ye. Just saw on wikipiedia that Kerbdog's debut album was called 'Totally Switched' in the US, is this right? I assume it was the same as the european release or was there any bonus tracks? A friend of mine had the US release. The cover was absolutely identical to the UK/Irish on...

Saw them play a few months ago - awesome!! It was about 10 years since I'd last seen them and they were totally on the ball. New material was spot on.

Re: Your Kerbdog Collection
And then there's what used to be the crown jewels of my collection, the "B-Sides and Rarities" 2 CD set put together by the members of the old Wilt/Kerbdog fan group at wilt.tsx.org. I say "used to be", because the CDRs died on me... :'( Fortunately I managed to grab high-quality mp3s of most of...

I've the blue On the turn tour one. XL. Got it at the final gig in Dublin 1998 (well, not *final*, but you know what I mean...) How much would you be willing to pay? Seriously.

really old interview/end of green video
Bad quality - was just testing out my borrowed video capture card, but take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiO4NOarHHE it has the official End of Green video embeded in it and Battle chats about roots and making the first album. Oh, and Billy says one word. Oh and Battles closing lin...

Re: Bruce Dickinson is into Kerbdog
Sounds quite a bit like the first album mixed with Stained or something more US orientated. Bruce Dickinson has/had the same management company as Kerbdog. I suppose he ran in to them at some point. Plus in the mid 90's there was a big buzz around them and they got a lot of airplay and magazine spac...
