Re: I think Kerbdog.com has completed its task -time to move

I just want to say thanks for the site and show my appreciation for all the work you've done over the years. It's just the way of the internet that it goes unnoticed and without credit, so don't feel too bad about that. I certainly appreciate it, so thanks again. Regarding the band, I think the webs...

Re: Three songs that reminded me of Kerbdog

Heya Memson, Great replies. I agree with pretty much everything you say. Funnily enough, I only stumbled on Sugar the day before I originally wrote this thread, but didn't mention them because I wasn't sure at the time. I found Sugar by reading comments about OTT on Amazon!! Where someone said they ...

Re: Three songs that reminded me of Kerbdog

Biffy have gone on record to say they used producer GGGGarth to get the guitar sounds like Kerbdog did on "On The Turn". Major similarities. Also same can be said for the Gallows lp "Grey Britain" again with GGGGarth producing. Yeah, I knew Biffy had gone out of their way to use GGGGarth, but I can...

Three songs that reminded me of Kerbdog

I can only think of three occasions when a song or band instantly reminded me of Kerbdog. Anyone else have good examples? The first is a band called L.A.W (Life after Weekend), a German band that released two albums before splitting up. This song  ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyT6cEDCscM&feature...

Backing vocals, full song or what? Dutch Schultz worth a listen in general? I plan on taking a listen later anyway.

Re: Kerbdog - Temple House Festival - Sligo - 11th June 2011

Pity about the turnout, waste of a Kerbdog gig really! It's a bad sign when I can be heard signing "All I know is..." over Cormac during the End of Green breakdown!  :P In fairness I think it was just reflective of a poor turnout at the festival in general. Things didn't get any way lively till lat...

Re: Cormac on the Dave Fanning show

Great little interview. It's a real shame that Cormac feels bitter about what could have been though. I wish he would just straight-talk questions about him still writing music too, instead of playing the joker. Ah well, it's great to know that some people will have heard Kerbdog for the first time ...

Re: Kerbdogs future

I spoke with Darragh last year and, to be honest, I don't see it it happening. The lads live too far apart and have different things going on to get together for anything more than the odd gig. They were asked to do a third album by a record producer but - obviously! - it didn't happen.

Well done Phil and all the bands involved. The songs I've heard so far sound great, especially the McPhearson acoustic cover. Will try and make it up for the launch party.

Interview with Darragh in tomorrow's Examiner

Heya guys,

I interviewed Darragh yesterday regarding the Susie Long gig on Saturday. It's on page 9 of tomorrow's Irish Examiner. Thought ye might want to know.

I'll post it here later in the week for those who don't pick it up.

See ya at Pumpalooza!

Heya guys, Just joined the forum, been lurking since its inception though. Long-time fan of the lads, well done to the people involved in getting this running. Anyway, If anyone can grab me a ticket to the Kilkenny gig, I'd be very grateful. I've PMed Darragh about it. Also, if I do get a ticket, if...
