Re: Billy's contribution to On the Turn
He was as much a part of Kerbdog as any of us until he left a few months after returning from los angeles. Cool :) Thanks for the clarification Darragh. It's always been something I wondered about. I though he *must* have been pretty involved. It's great to clear up the confusion, because I guess e...

Re: Billy's contribution to On the Turn
I always assumed he played a full part on all the tracks. TBH, everything is quite vague concerning his departure. Then again, the entire Kerbdog "history" peddled on a number of sites is quite bizzare. A load of them perpetuate the old bio that was extremely exagerated and full of obvious humour. ...

Re: Your Kerbdog Collection
Woo! Action records came through again (for the umpteenth time!!) Laid my hands on the Earthworks single on CD and a 1 track Dummy crusher promo for less than £8 including p&p. Action records have always got a few Kerbdog cd's. They have currently got some of the earlier stuff in stock. If you want ...

Re: Billy's contribution to On the Turn
I was thinking - he must have played on some of the songs. They would have been written before recording, so I guess he would have been involved.
I wonder if Darragh will comment?

Billy's contribution to On the Turn
I was thinking (hmmm.... maybe not a good thing..?) Billy is credited with playing guitar on On the Turn (believe it or not, he is... I had to check, but he is..) Anyone remember ever seeing listed how much he played on? It doesn't list specific tracks (or I didn't look hard enough), but I'd be fasc...

Re: Kerbdog Live Kilkenny Aug 23rd
> For some reason, I imagined him with a bald spot and a pot-belly Billy was always the most metal looking one of the bunch. I only saw him play with them once, in 1994*, but at the time I though Battle and Colin were twins as they looked quite similar on stage (Battle had curtains and Colin's hair ...

Re: Kerbdog Live Kilkenny Aug 23rd
Thanks for that Cool looking set, I'll bet it sounded mad with the second guitar. Dry Riser must have rocked coz Battle's guitar plays a slightly different riff to Billy's.
He'll always be lil Benji K to me, heh.

Re: Kerbdog Live Kilkenny Aug 23rd
So, what was the rough setlist? Did Billy play on many songs? It looks pretty amazing from the pictures. If a DVD is made available, I hope will it be sold to UK bods! Seems wee Benji Keating's band played too. He was one of the regulars back on the old school Wilt mailing list.

Re: Wilt audio bootlegs
I ran the recording through a 20 band EQ (audio unit on a Mac running Reaper.) I adjusted the highest and lowest bands down, to lessen the bass boom and cymbol mush. Other than that, the only filter is the fact that the dictaphone was in my bag. For the tools used, it's actually a pretty good result.

Re: Kerbdog Live London Aug 16th SOLD OUT
Any surprises at the London gig, or usual set? I'm guessing: Sally, JJs Song, Didn't Even Try, Mexican Wave, Severed, Pledge, On The Turn, Secure, Rewind, End of Green, Dry Riser, Earthworks, Cleaver. Give or take. It was pretty much: Pledge, On the turn, Mexican wave, Dry Riser, Rewind, Severed, D...
