Re: Female Kerbdog fans?

Sorry - no offence meant. It was more a sweeping observation of the current musical trend. I just think it's a shame these days that there's a hell of a lot of people (guys AND girls) who seem to think that certain rock bands are "alternative" or punk.....when in actual fact it's usually MTV-friendl...

Re: Ten Years On...

Your Kerbdog blog makes for an interesting read....it sums up a lot of my own feelings about the band and the OTT album. I don't think there's any other band that provokes the same reaction/emotion in me as when I hear Kerbdog. They were truly something special and I'm glad I discovered the band bac...

Re: Female Kerbdog fans?

Lucky git....girlfriends with a sensible music taste are something of a rarity, especially in these dark days when bands like Razorshite and the Arctic SpunkMonkeys are deemed by many to be "alternative".

Re: Hi-res Kerbdog logo?

I used to love my old navy blue dog t-shirt, that had the simple Kerbdog name splashed across the front (from the OTT generation)....it also had the 3 silhouettes of the surfer, crossguard and miner on the back of the shoulders/neck (but I'm not too fussed about those). If I could get a basic t-shir...

Dammit, I can't check it out yet cos Myspace is blocked from work....but it sounds really cool. I liked Throat and am a massive Helmet fan.

Cillit Bang Remix!

There's a quality remix of one of those "e-sure" car insurance commercials as well.....it's doing the rounds somewhere (probably Youtube) - not seen it for a while.

It's one of the normal Michael Winner adverts, but with a drum n bass soundtrack (if I remember rightly).

No worries mate. No real offence was caused and maybe I'm just a tad over sensitive. I dunno. I just found it a bit quick off the mark.....I mean, it's easy to make assumptions about me from my MySpace profile, but in reverse I am unable to make any assumptions about you other than from the comments...

What's the issue? I liked Sugar before I'd even heard Kerbdog for the first time. Through liking Sugar, I soon got into Bob Mould's solo stuff and then eventually Husker Du (which was a bit harder to get into I must admit, but I found that as I got older I liked it more). I used to work in a record ...

Tribute page? LOL I dunno where you get that idea from. My all time favourite bands are probably Kerbdog/Helmet/Therapy and a couple of others. Yeah, Cormac is listed as one of my favourite singer songwriters, but that's where the "interest" ends  HA HA! You've got me thinking I'm some sort o...

some good points there Colin. You're definitely right about the 2nd album entering a more "crowded market". It was definitely more commercial and accessible to new listeners. Saying that, I thought it had enough about it to stand out from many of the other indie/rock/britpop bands of the time. Wasn'...
