KERBDOG DVDs

Cool.....I booked my tickets for Amsterdam a few weeks ago. Got a couple of mates coming over from UK for it too, so should be a blast. Thought about the Tilburg gig too, but it's in the south of Holland. How are you planning on getting down there? Staying in a hotel down there? I don't use the T? f...

As a seller on ebay, I have a Paypal account and I know that you pay for the privilege of accepting payments from credit cards. But if a user transfers an existing paypal balance (ie. from money they've received themselves or topped up their account with), then I think it's free......you'd be best c...

Yeah, I'm just as confused as you. But I'm pretty sure that A were the emergency stand-in band to support kerbdog, when some other band pulled out. Anyway, maybe someone else can confirm? Fair play if they're your favourite band.......not meaning to cause offence. I've just never thought of them as ...

In the past..

Hmm.....now you've got me thinking! I've definitely seen both Kerbdog and A at the Buckley Tivoli. I can't remember if it was the same gig or whether A were supporting Jesus Lizard at a different show. One thing's for sure......A were shit. His voice was worse and even more piercing than it is now. ...

ENGL fireball head as used by Cormac Battle for sale.
I know Battle used a Seymour Duncan stacked pick up... I asked him once. I put one in my Tele and it sounds the nuts!!!
If Cormac always played a Strat, then I guess we're talking single coil stacked pick ups. Are there different models available of the Seymour Duncan s...

that main chorus riff is bugging me.....it's quite hard to pick it out as well, because of the prominent bass.

Kerbdog tabs?

I was playing something like this on the chorus the other day (in Eb, drop-D)..... 3 / x / 2 / x 3 / 3 / 2 / 1 1 / 3 / 0 / 1 x / 3 / 0 / 1 It seemed to fit nicely. But this is just following the bass line and the actual main guitar part on the CD is different......like I said, something lighter over...

No announcements. But I'd never rule anything out with Kerbdog.......we never expected them to make the comeback in 2005, so anything's possible.

I'd say just sit tight and hope for the best. If the Kilkenny gig does happen, then let's all go and show our support.

Our effort at 'Didn't Even Try'

Ahh, I have actually heard this Kerbdog cover before.....it must've been a couple of years ago when I stumbled across your (old) website from a link from the BBC 'local music' website or something. I'm actually from Chester, but I live in Amsterdam now. Used to get out to Liverpool occasionally thou...
Also, Battle pretty much wrote all 4 albums, the Wilt two being his 3rd and 4th efforts, so he was probably improving as a songwriter.
You could also argue the point that by the 3rd or 4th album, a songwriter has exhausted their creativity. I'm not saying that Cormac did, b...

Kerbdog tabs?

Hi kerbpuppy, Yeah that makes sense and it's a nice shape. I just tried playing along to JJ's Song and it sounds about right. But if you drop the guitar down to Eb tuning (then put it in drop-D).....so, instead of playing the chords you mention at frets 2, 4 and 6, it becomes 3, 5 and 7.....I think ...
