Re: Billy's contribution to On the Turn

I always assumed he played a full part on all the tracks. Think about it, they recorded it in Los Angeles so he was hardly there just for laugh. He was there as a full-time member. I think I read somewhere that once they got back to Ireland after recording the album, Billy said he wanted out. Could ...

Re: Kerbdog Live Kilkenny Aug 23rd

Cool pictures - I must say Billy looks completely different to what I expected!

For some reason, I imagined him with a bald spot and a pot-belly.  :D

Re: Wilt audio bootlegs

Thanks Memson for providing this, and Philly for uploading it - I must download it when I get the chance.

I have a video of Therapy? playing at the Rock Box in 2004, the sound was atrocious as the guitar was inaudible compared to the drums!  I hope the Wilt show is a bit better :)

Re: Kerbdog Live London Aug 16th SOLD OUT

Any surprises at the London gig, or usual set?

I'm guessing: Sally, JJs Song, Didn't Even Try, Mexican Wave, Severed, Pledge, On The Turn, Secure, Rewind, End of Green, Dry Riser, Earthworks, Cleaver.

Give or take.

Re: Audio goodies

I remember recording the Fanning session in January '97, so the session was either then or December '96

Re: Kerbdog's New album??

Sounds like the DJ was on drugs.  Darragh posts here occasionally and he hasn't mentioned anything about a new album. Even if they were thinking of writing new material, they certainly haven't got it all recorded by now!

Re: Kerbdog in 2FM session 1997

I have the same hissy tracks with a couple seconds missing.  I'd love to hear the re-broadcasts too.  Give Cormac a call, eh? Hee hee, I think I sent you those on cd a few years ago! I remember sending them, and a cd of their Dublin'98 gig (with Feile tracks at the end) to someone in the US. Great ...

Re: Kerbdog in 2FM session 1997

Hello peeps,

Just wondering if anyone has these 4 tracks, in their entirety, from the re-broadcast session last year?

I taped it back in '97, but there's a second or two missing from the start and end of each track, plus it's a bit hissy, so I was hoping for an improved version??

Re: Kerbdog in Kilkenny

Setlist was similar to when I saw them in 2005, only no "Same with the Hammer"; On the Turn, Secure, Didn't Even Try, Dry Riser, Earthworks, Severed, Pledge, Rewind, Scram, Mexican Wave, JJs Song, End of Green, Sally. Not too sure about the sequencing in the middle, but it's more or less correct. Al...

Me and 2 mates are heading to KK from Clonmel for this one. We're all late 20's now and desperately trying to pretend we're still hip!

I'll be the guy with stupid amounts of hair on the side of my face.

I bought a fully signed (all 4) Kerbdog (ie. first album) cd for £6.50 on ebay recently. Good deal, I reckon!
