Yup, ticket's bought and flight is booked. Knowing my luck it'll get bloody cancelled or something now (apologies - it's my back-at-work-monday mood creeping in there!)

there's rumours running around that they might be playing down here in kilkenny the night before the dublin gig which would be fantastic for me

i happened to speak to a little birdie at the weekend who suggested there's a date on the 21st in kilkenny, the night before the dublin gig. won't say who the birdie is mind you, but let's just say its a very reliable source.

Update from Darragh - The Kilkenny gig isn't going to happen as one of the band members has other engagements the night they planned for it - pitty - So all you Kilkenny folk get your Dublin tickets bought!!!

Best get those tickets for the Dublin gig asap as they are selling out!  All the tickets that were on ticketmaster are sold, there's still some on http://www.tickets.ie (and they are cheaper than ticketmaster) and the village website.

There's no plans at all for any other gigs so if your expecting a gig in cork/belfast etc you will be waiting!
get to dublin... should be a great gig.

Nop, he never spoke about the upcoming gig during his spot in that show, just reported about other gigs of other bands around Dublin.  He speak around 1:19 in the show.

Hey guys, another annoying newbie in the house - apologies for crashing your forum but just found out about the Xmas gig, am all booked up on a solo mission with flights from London and am raring to go!

Been a huge KD fan since I first saw them support Swervedriver at a gig at the Limelight in London in about '92 I think - got the Earthworks and EoG EPs and was hooked!  Since have seen them ruin HMV at an instore in Reading, headline the Marquee in London (bedlam - more people on stage attempting to kill themselves than at any other gig I've ever been to), a couple of shows at Exeter Cavern in the mid 90s and the support slots for Therapy? at Brixton (managed to get on the stage during EoG for that one myself-quite an acheivment if anyone here knows what c***s the Academy bouncers are!) and Helmet in Shepherds Bush. 

Got everything they've ever released and a couple of t-shirts - I'm not selling any of the music but if anyone's interested in the Dry Riser finger shirt or the KD Fighting Irish Transh The Gaff number let me know and i'll stick them up on eBay.

I'm babbling - apologies again - just never thought I'd get to see them again and am so chuffed and exited. 

Finally, if anyone here's got any sway with the boys themselves and can ask them to play 'Same with the Hammer', then I'm buying the beers on the 22nd!

im so excited, and i just cant hide it ....tickets purchased and good to go:)...the support aintad either,saw them support deftones at the ambassador last year. theyre a bit on the wrong side of mental tho and go around wearing crazy masks..
