Same with the Hammer

After watching the excellent video of Same With The Hammer (live from TBMC February 2005) it got me thinking, does anyone know the lyrics to the song?

It's one of my all time dog tunes.....simple riff, but oh so brutal.

Here's the video clip on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=13064695042&oid=2334873785&ref=share

You'll find it in the B-sides section of the media gallery:

I think it's been lifted from the old 7" vinyl so it's a bit itchy and scratchy.

Enjoy...

Mine too.

I kind of understand why Xenophobia and Self-Inflicted didn't make the first album, but SWTH should have been on there for sure.

However, I've got the Dry Riser 7" and have to say that I actually prefer the live version from the Tramway show...  Having taped the gig when it was aired, and having originally bought the Dry Riser Digipak CD, this was the first version I heard and it's just soooo damn heavy.  I still think the vocal melodies in the chorus from the Tramway show beat those on the studio version too.

It took me a while but I am resonably confident I have worked out  some of the lyrics.

At the very end of the song I think the lyrics might be:

"Same with the Hammer"

I can't be 100% sure though.

Thanks Sherlock! Some A-grade detective work there :)
