Arrrghhhh - goddamn Friday night shows!  And potentially to see the 'dog as a four piece for the first time since 94 Arrrrggghhh!!

No chance of getting over for a 7.30 (so 9.30 in reality) kick off - a swift knee in the happy sacks for us devoted, hard-working, non-Dubliner's!    :-[

Unless this is a warm up for the 'proper' show on the Saturday...  ;)

Haha, i don't think you're the only one with an astounding ability to predict colds!

How big is the venue? ..and are there still plenty of tickets?

Wow, that fuel thing really kicks everyone in the nuts.

Not like last year, I got a £10 return.

hmmmm..... can I afford to come over again to see them like I did in 2005? Was fun... didn't have anywhere to stay so stayed out all night drinking till 10.30 the next day when our plane left. Fun times! I did see them in London the other month...

That's the day that my contract at work is due to finish, so I might try and fly over for the gig and then spend a few extra days up in Belfast at my mum's before Christmas.

Righteo, this xmas giggy thing has become quite the habit and i am dead happy, been to them all, including galway and it never gets tired! Being pretty much the only girl in the fromt 6 rows, in the middle of the mosh is frickin hilarious too!!!

So what you guys think are the chances of the lads playing Lesser Shelf, I haven't heard it yet in the recent shows and I hear the only time they played it was at Oxegen, a few years ago, could have been 2005/6 or whatever year they played, and even though i got a fairly good representation via phone from my mate, i wasn't there, sniff...!!

So here begins the cauls led campaign for LESSER SHELF!!!! ;)

I'm not too sure they've ever played "Lesser Shelf" live, are you sure they played it at Oxegen?

I remember them sound-checking with it at Conna in Cork in 1997, but the didn't play it during the show itself and I've never seen it on any set-lists either.

I have my ticket for the show, I'm just hopeful that Billy will be there. I've seen them quite a few times as a 3 piece so to have that extra guitar there would be sweet!

Anyone know where the best place for a few pre-gig pints would be??

Billy HAS GOT to play! I'd love to see a setlist with all the Live at Concrete stuff on there. Oh and Clock is far too good a tune to not get a live airing!!!

Oh yeah, 'Clock' would be superb - a very under-rated track, along with 'Pointless'.
I remember leaning over onto the stage and requesting 'Clock' in Colin's mic at a gig in the Crazy Horse years ago, only for Colin to laugh and shake his head!

So yeah; Billy on guitar, Clock & Pointless to be played, and Battle not to forget the words.

Know what ya mean dude, I've been twidling my thumbs since last years gig in the Village! Thank all sorts of gods that it's ALT this year, fricken hate the village!

any chance they'll play any of the obviously-intended-for-a-kerbdog-release b-sides from the singles from the bastinado then??

I wanna hear I Want It All.

Pretty sure they played that as Kerbdog in the last show in 1997 in the Mean Fiddler... I gots the live video (yeah, Video!!) and it's there, some different words than the No Worries EP/single recording effort, but same tune...

"Break for the weather at the weekend...."!! What a tune!! (obviously a lost Kerbdog classic!!)
