Well with lack of new material I suppose reworked versions is the next best thing!!!
Am I overacting this time?
Re: Kerbdog Tribute Album coming soon...
yeah! this should be great!
there was a cable tribute album a few years ago that did quite well, so it's not such a crazy idea!

Re: Kerbdog Tribute Album coming soon...
Looks like this is starting to pop up on a few message boards so il give you some details.
The album will be released on Stressed Sumo Records (www.stressedsumorecords.co.uk) which i run with Neil Cooper (Therapy?). I'm the massive Kerbdog fan and have been putting this together.
As a fan i've tried to put a really good package together - something i would want to buy. It includes some guest sleeve notes from some well known names.
I don't want to give any of the bands away, but there a couple of pretty well known ones on the album and a bunch of up and coming bands on there too. It's a good mix. They have all recorded the tracks for free and the majority of money made is going back to bands.
Kerbdog are behind the album.
No release date yet, just waiting on a few more tracks to come in.
I'l keep you posted - There is a Stressed Sumo Facebook page for future updates: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group ... 226&ref=ts
I'll try and answer any questions.
No Therapy? on the album, sorry.

Are Fighting With Wire on the album?
PS Stressed Sumo got some great bands! I'm kicking myself for missing Kidnapper Bell at the Nell Gwyne in Southsea.

FWW aren't on the album - I spoke to Cahir and they were up for it, but then things got really busy for them and they had to pull out. But they were very nice and wished me all the best with the album.
I'll post a list of all the bands up on here soon.
Kidnapper Bell have another single out later this year, they'll hopefully be back your way again.

How about Biffy Clyro? They're big Kerbdog fans and would definitely do a cover version justice...
I dance to all the wrong songs. I enjoy all the wrong moves...

Looks like a February release I think. I'm sure Phil Stressed will be back on here soon with news.brian wrote: Cool! Shame you guys aren't playing with T? 22nd Oct in Portsmouth. Any dates on the tribute album?
We're playing in Manchester tonight (with the awesome Cars On Fire who are also on the tribute album) and in Cheltenham tomorrow. Be great to see a few Kerbdog fans down the front if any of you are in the vicinity.
Cheers.

As only last week I spent a whole evening with them DJing together and then partying!!!
And fond words were expressed regarding kerbdog -
Simon described On The Turn as "a beautiful, beautiful thing"
Which is high praise indeed eh?!!!!
