Kerbdog DVDs

Post by bastinado »

Hello, there.

As you might have noticed on the "old" site i'm working on a handful of Kerbdog DVDs.
This thread is here for updates and for any kind of hints or information.
Feel free to ask or bother me anytime.
I'll do my best to answer ASAP.

Big thanks to ANDYMAN for providing an excellent VHS of 2 Kerbdog and 1 post-Kerbdog shows!

Although I'm quite sure you all are going mad for the final results - PLEASE be patient because

1) I'm moving at the moment
2) Creating a DVD menu is fun - but to make it look alright it just takes time!

Thanks for reading and have a nice day!  :D

I'm still working on the Whelans gig. For that, the menu is done; after burning
it to DVD i noticed the audio is out of sync throughout the whole gig...so i'm working on that at the moment.
Then there's the final gig in the works and a post-KERBDOG DVD (first gig ever).

Some surprises to be on each of those DVDs.

BUT again:

Please be p a t i e n t...

I'm doing this on my own.
I have a job that takes up to 10 hours every day and I am moving into a new home;
I'll try to finish the Whelans gig until Christmas (what a gift!) -
but I can't promise anything.

Like they say on tydirium.tv (a site that you guys should visit!):
"when it's done...!"

Marcus

AAAAALRIGHT,

it's been a looong time since i last posted anything on this but i think i have a few nice news for everyone who loves to see the dog on DVD.

i finished work on the KERBDOG - live at Whelans - DVD
and WILT's first ever gig DVD!
still in the works is KERBDOG's final gig DVD.

both have intro, menus and song selection and the quality of both is really good, too.

Since i have no idea who the original taper was i'm not sure about seeding it on a torrent-download site yet;

if you guys have any idea of getting it out into the world, PLEASE let me know.

First thing that came to mind was a B&P thing, you send me your blanks plus postage and i'll send you a copy.

my email addy is : bastinado@freenet.de

or simply drop me a PM. easy.

i had a quite hard time to get online the last months, but here i am; so don't bother and let me know if you're interested in those DVDs.

I'm looking forward to see a killer one by DaveGefow (you CAN do it, man)!!!

Think 2006 will be a dog's year (at least for me).

I created a dvd cover artwork for the Whelans DVD which is available here: http://www.kerbdog.com/gallery/vi/uploa ... ewsIndex=1 ; make sure to check that one out, too.

i wish us all a great 2006 with loads of KERBDOG news (i think they can't go wrong recording a new album!)

BIGGEST THANKS GO OUT TO ANDYMAN for trust and belief and the biggest portion of patience ever by sending me the VHS tape to tranfer to DVD!!!

thanks so much, mate!!!

All the best,

Marcus

Best idea is to probably setup a PayPal account if you haven't got one already and charge a couple of quid to cover the cost of a dvd and postage.

I'll certainly have one.

OKAY...

back from the post office -

postage : 2,50 euros
package: 0,50 euros
3 dvd+r (sony): 2,04 euros

so i guess 5 euros has to be the final price for all 3 discs.

i think paying via paypal is a pretty good idea; so if you're up to that use my emailaddress bastinado@freenet.de for that.
you can also send 5 euros the traditional (but more insecure) way in an envelope - i'll leave that up to you.

My address is:

Marcus Worthington
Horst-Olk-Str.33
D-33775 Versmold
Germany

please do me a favour and let me know if and when you send me money - just send me an email along with your WHOLE address.

so - that's what you get:

1) DVD - KERBDOG - live at Whelans
2) DVD - WILT - first gig

NOTICE:

the 3rd DVD, KERBDOG's final gig in the mean fiddler is still in the works and will still take me about 1 to 2 weeks!!!
please don't expect your 3 copies to be in your mail BEFORE that!

I hope you like the results :D Cormac Battle:
