Just regarding youre query sockpuppet as far as im aware in the early days Cormac and Billie used strats and teles probably with emg pickups and a marshall jcm 100s. Fennelly used basic Fender jazz basses with an ampeg
For the On The Turn days, Cormac still used strats and a jaguar with jcm 100s again most prob with emgs. To this day Fennelly uses the same equipment and I noticed Cormac used a engl amp at the first of the reunion gigs he now uses a hughes amp and a strat with a double rail pick up.
Havent a clue about drums sorry.

Darragh rented out a "Gretch" kit over in the states and recorded "On The Turn" with it.
Most of the Kerbdog and Wilt stuff was recorded and indeed most of his touring was done with his "Yamaha" kit - which he played a lot of the early reunion gigs with. - he has just recently sold this kit.
He now playes with a "Tama" 5 peice kit and uses "Zildjian" cymbols and Promark sticks.
i think thats all you will ever want to know about them.

I know Battle used a Seymour Duncan stacked pick up... I asked him once. I put one in my Tele and it sounds the nuts!!!
I remember years ago, they were using those Marshall 30th Anniversary Heads and cabs.. The bluey purpley ones... But they chopped and changed their amps around quite a bit over the years...

he hasnt used a double pedel for any of the reunion shows as far as i know. yeah the double pedel used to sound cool, i have a short clip of EOG being performed with it. Its cool but not uber KD if you get my meaning...
i dont really know what kit Darragh used in the early days but could simply be the yamaha.

If Cormac always played a Strat, then I guess we're talking single coil stacked pick ups.
Are there different models available of the Seymour Duncan stacked pickups? If so, which ones are we talking about?

Yeah the hotrails is awesome!!! A single coil stack sounds just as good as any active humbucker I reckon...
