Comac would have used his 2FM email address, but this one has been registered with a yahoo email address.

I'm 95% sure this a joke :)

Damit! I was wrong :o (removing all the posts because of mine)

I check up the IP that the post came from;

kerbdog:/# ns 217.173.98.216
Name: z.rte.ie
Address: 217.173.98.216

So it was inside RTE.
So with my face suitable reddened, Cormac, great to see yea like the site, and with your good words the site will continue as long as I have cash in my pocket. Did yea check out the Media Gallery? :)

canada loves kerbdog!

Post by ontheturn »

if there was never a band called kerbdog or a guy named cormac battle i would have lost all hope in knowing that there still is some kick ass music out there.i listen to kd religously and have learned 90% of thier music on guitar and drums.their style is unlike anything i have ever heard,it was a new sound to me back in summer of 97 when a friend turned me on on kd.i work 4am to 11am get home shower,eat,turn on my cd player to disc 1(kd's self titled disc and plug in my guitar and play away for hours and hours till my girlfriend gets home-i love it!-Now i have converted her to a kerbdog lover!!I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO CAN ANSWER IT>On some of kerbdog's cds on the actual cd it says"UNAUTHORIZED COPYING,REPRODUCTION,HIRING,LENDING,PUBLIC PERFORMANCE AND BROADCASTING PROHIBITED!>>does that mean if i wanted to cover a kerbdog song live somewhere in Canada i would get sued by thier record company?ALSO WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO KERBDOGS MUSIC?THEM OR THE RECORD COMPANY THEY WERE ON?cheers!
ould you have a little patience,i know i really didnt mean it.

u have to make sure that the place ur playing at has all the proper licences, if it does, u'll be alright u just cant say the song is urs. if they dont have the proper stuff then yeah u could be a spot of bother but i dont think u'll have anything to worry about. if u ever see the mighty dog about, just by them a pint

u can cover anybodys music once youre not commercialy making money off it however if music companys and bands were to follow up every band that does covers they wouldnt have much time left to do anything else,all the quality show bands of ireland would have been sued by smokie(where the f is alice anyway?).Even if one was to record a kd cover and release it the copyright would be finished (for the same reason the kd albums are on this site for download freely).Technicaly Battle and co would own the copyright at this point since the record company they were with have no interest anymore.As wilting it said just buy them a pint at a gig , if they ever play again that is.
