Dry Rise join the book world(?!)

Post by dragginthru »

Over the next few months Dry Rise are to be immortalised in a novel!

We will be appearing under the pseudonym of Dry Rot in the new Robert Rankin book, which I think is going to be called The Devils Music.

If you havent heard of him, check out this wiki link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Rankin
But suffice it to say that he is a best selling author who has sold millions (literally) of books so far in his career!

There will be a CD with the book featuring exclusive Dry Rise stuff too.

Fun fun fun.

Brilliant! Well done. I think your band is ace, by the way. I asked you for a CD-R of your stuff in another thread, this one: http://www.kerbdog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=153

Just to let people know, the book is now out available in the shops. Most amusing seeing us in it.
Turns out the book is called "The Da Da De Da Da Code" by Robert Rankin. Available now in hardback with CD on first edition featuring Dry Rise :)
Should easily find it in Borders/Waterstones etc.
Gx

Me self obsessed? Nah.
I just like spreading the word :D
And the book thing wasnt anything to do with me at all, our bassist knows the author which is how he got to know us all, wasnt my idea at all!!! It is cool tho.
