Dry Rise - A bit about the band...
Hey folks here are links to our site and myspace for free MP3s and also a bio pasted below for your perusal
Drawing on a wide range of influences, the hugely catchy yet heavy sound of DRY RISE is well summarised in their newest track "Interstellar", produced by John Mitchell (FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND, THE HURT PROCESS).
Hand-picked in 2004 into the final of a televised "battle of the bands" event on Scuzz music channel, DRY RISE gained a a good amount helpful exposure following this, including a track on UK music magazine Rock Sound, a popular video on satellite/cable TV for a number of months, and extensive club and radio play of their material. Changes within the band led to recent line-up changes, including the welcome addition of Glenn Hooper, previously of the band EASYWORLD.
A growing fanbase and an intense live show has won the band recent support slots such as THERAPY? and X IS LOADED, giving the band the chance to impress larger, newer audiences.
DRY RISE are a band equally at home on a hardcore or an indie bill... and not many bands can honestly say that. So if you like your music heavy but still the kind of stuff you can sing along to, then it's time you check out DRY RISE.
Listen and enjoy.

You guys should come to Kilkenny as well then. Not only is it the home of Kerbdog but it also has a great music scene, reminiscent of their heyday! Rock!
