Shankmin is a three-piece band from Frederick, Maryland that began writing music a in 2004. They file themselves under the semi-non-existent genre Grungecore - Music reminiscent of Helmet, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, etc but with metal and hardcore influence, breakdowns, riffing and LOTS of distortion. Shankmin just recorded their record titled "The Hebrew Preamble" which will be released in the spring of 2009 and were introduced to the awesomeness of Kerbdog via their producer and the irony that both them and Kerbdog use South Park avatars on their websites.
