AGH! who else recorded this tonight?
I missed it as my recording program crapped out as I was out having pints.  Can't believe it crapped out

Anybody get it?

I asked the DJ of the night if he could sort out us diehard fans. He couldn't as RTE own the copyright :(

I can if you like. He know's who I am, although I'm guessing others on this forum know him too! If Cormac does play the request I won't be able to record the songs at high quality, as I only have the streamed internet thing.

Hello peeps,

Just wondering if anyone has these 4 tracks, in their entirety, from the re-broadcast session last year?

I taped it back in '97, but there's a second or two missing from the start and end of each track, plus it's a bit hissy, so I was hoping for an improved version??

I have the same hissy tracks with a couple seconds missing.  I'd love to hear the re-broadcasts too.  Give Cormac a call, eh?

Mexican Wave, Sally, Pledge, and Hard to Live - all 2FM sessions (there's some commentary from the DJ about them so that's how I know).  I think the one's that are being talked about here are the same session versions.

It sometimes frustrates me that they had to disappear so quickly and not leave more of a body of work behind them. But then again, that's one of the things that makes them so sweet I guess. Has anyone got C.D's?

Has anyone got C.D's?

Do you mean any specific CDs? Or just the general albums and singles?
I dance to all the wrong songs. I enjoy all the wrong moves...

Hee hee, I think I sent you those on cd a few years ago! I remember sending them, and a cd of their Dublin'98 gig (with Feile tracks at the end) to someone in the US. Great versions, I always thought - much quicker and punchier than the album versions. It's a shame they didn't get a opportunity to release them.

Yes!  That's me!  I was just thinking how cool it was for someone to post me those songs.  Since then I've sent bits and pieces of that collection to others here on the message board (like the "I Want It All" versions) and local friends too and I've gotten more enjoyment out of them all then I can shake a stick at!   :)

There's some talk of a b-sides, etc. compilation...perhaps even a proper release. You may have already read this, but here's the thread:

Is it wilt or Kerbdog doing it?

Cos i heard that I want it all was indeed a song planned for the follow up to OTT.

I am making a list, I'm putting all of your names on it...

Wow, I didn't know that it was to be on the Dog's 3rd album...  I have three versions: (1) from their last show as Kerbdog, (2) on Wilt's "No Worries" single from 1998, and (3) a special session version from one of Wilt's 7" vinyl releases (I think).  I can send them to you if you like.  Just PM me your e-mail address.
